Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is one of the most sought-after anti-aging treatment that successfully restores your skin’s lustre and sheen. The treatment works on all skin types.
Microdermabrasion works to uncover a new layer of skin which lies just below the surface. The new layer of skin that Microdermabrasion brings out is much softer, smoother, and younger-looking than the one you currently wear. Many blemishes that exist on the top layer of skin will simply disappear after your Microdermabrasion treatment.
The treatment involves mechanical exfoliation of the outer layer of skin known as the stratum corneum, which contains age spots, fine lines, and textural irregularities caused by years of acne and many environmental factors.
Once the top layer of the skin is exfoliated, body’s natural response is to produce a fresh new surface. This new layer is free of fine lines, wrinkles and blemishes that existed previously. After just a few treatment sessions, the skin will become markedly smoother and brighter.

Microdermabrasion: Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the treatment has been proven to be effective as a solution for multiple skin conditions. This includes but is not limited to, age spots, fine lines, textural irregularities, and other conditions including environmental factors. This, however, does not include more severe forms of scars, stretch marks, deep wrinkles, and deep acne scars. But we do offer other treatments which are effective against these other conditions which Microdermabrasion does not capture.
Yes, it is very safe as it is a non-invasive and commonly used treatment with no side-effects.
Results can be seen as soon as the first treatment is complete, however the ideal results will be seen after a series of 5 to 8 treatments (which should be scheduled 10 to 14 days apart). For a flawless finish, our Microdermabrasion experts may recommend additional treatments to remove acne scars or discolorations. To maintain results, it is important to book maintenance treatments every 2 to 3 months.
Both treatments exfoliate the skin to improve the imperfections on the surface. Microdermabrasion is a mechanical procedure while peels are chemical. Microdermabrasion is better for superficial skin imperfections while chemical peels may be more useful for deeper skin conditions. Our aestheticians are perfectionists when it comes to choosing the best combination of treatments for your skin. Book a consultation today!
